Had events to eat at a few times this week and so maybe underestimated calories a bit resulting in another loss. Been increasing calories very gradually for my sanity and so maintenance taking a little longer to achieve. Heading into week #4 with a commitment to increase and not change course from that this week no matter what. And bring snacks to events as they often don’t have enough protein.
HEALTHY MOMENT OF GRATITUDE: It’s silly but had to run an errand at the mall on, god forbid, Black Friday. Being smaller, quicker and more agile, I was able to weave in and out of the crowds like a champ and did my errand in what must be some kind of record time 😂 My husband said it was the sexiest thing he’d ever seen 😆

Greek yogurt oatmeal raspberry pancakes topped with coconut Greek yogurt and a couple of raspberries; scrambled eggs (2) mixed with 35 grams egg whites.

Closer but still a slight adjustment to make with upping calories to reach maintenance. Quite the learning experience on this side of the journey as well!
TOTAL LOSS: 244.3 lbs
HEALTHY MOMENT OF GRATITUDE: Have a cold, but being healthier seems to help me both fight it and also recognize that exercise actually makes me feel better (and boy does swimming clear the sinuses!)

Still trying to dial into maintenance mode…added back ~100 calories a day on average, will add a bit more back this week but getting closer, so hopeful it’ll just be another couple of weeks to get it right.
HEALTHY MOMENT OF GRATITUDE: Had to buy some work clothes to get through the fall/winter b4 surgery and it felt amazing to have so many options. My husband said he’s never seen me walk out of a store so happy. Have I also mentioned how lucky I am to have the greatest guy in my corner? ❤️

It’s a bit ironic that I would’ve killed for weight losses like these last couple of weeks many times, but its happening as I declare I’m in maintenance and start increasing calories 😂 If I didn’t just get a fantastic medical checkup, I might be worried lol.
Anyway, will increase calories a little more aggressively for the week ahead, in healthy ways of course, so today I’ll be revisiting some meal planning to ensure I’m adding back calories with intention and keeping nutrition top in mind.
HEALTHY MOMENT OF GRATITUDE: Met with my plastic surgeon this week and it’s amazing how different medical conversations are now. He was talking about me being an ideal candidate for skin removal, words “lean” and “petite” and “fit” and “healthy” were mentioned and reference to being on no medications or having risk factors like blood pressure, diabetes or cholesterol….MY how things have changed and I appreciated just how how much better medical conversations can be.
P.s: In case any ladies are looking for a chuckle, I was told I don’t have enough extra subcutaneous fat left to transfer in order to give me my boobs back 😂
