Finally got out for walk decide a 5km (3.11 miles) to get a baseline on my pace tried very very short 1 minute run intervals managed 8 and came in bang on 1 hour - tomorrow is my big weigh in day for week 2.

Had all kinds of energy in the pool today was 30 seconds short of 25 laps in 40 minutes that is always my target thought it would take a lot longer to work back up too it :) so close to my 2 week mark and on track with my carbs

It's Friday yeah!!!! Had my first real test with going to my sisters for a big family birthday feast of pasta, buns, and cake...eeek was the first meal I was going to face that I did not prepare myself. Could not see anyway around it I just brought my own dinner and hope no one was offended it all worked out well and some were actually jealous of my taco salad with all that sour cream...lol All's well that ends well and I did not give in I'll be honest is was harder to pass up the buns than the cake - Today my second big challenge my first meal out at a restaurant since starting 12 days ago. I've gone on line and looked at menu and nutritional info, so looks like the sirloin steak with side Caesar, no croutons is really the only choice, but that's good I do love my beef and will be nice to eat a salad that I did not prepare.

Wow everyone is doing so well hoping I get some good results come Monday then have to change weight in day to Friday as we are starting our biggest loser competition at work with Friday Weigh ins it's always fun and there are actually four of us at work on some for of low carb WOE - feeling good been bang on with my carbs in and around 20 and still on track for 6 workouts this week was in the pool again tonight feeling a bit fatigued couldn't get my pace up so extended my swim to 40 minutes

Well my life certainly has changed after this week would normally reward myself for working hard in a spin class with a bag of chips and a Diet Coke (totally destroying all the good I had done) - today super excited for my Cocoa fat bomb and a fizzy water lol
