Last progress report for The Diabetes Club. It has been an interesting journey, with some lovely new buddies. Hope you all continue to travel your road to success. Just because the challenge is coming to an end this week does not mean that your efforts should cease. Now is the time to show true commitment and continue upwards. Back to yoga last night, after a 6 week break for the holidays. I was quite pleased that I was still as flexible as when we finished for the term as I haven't practised at all, apart from the meditation and breathing.
Sadly this will be my last term in this class as we finish our season here in November. We find out where we will be next year later this afternoon, so I will have to start looking for a new class. Hope I find one as it has really helped keep me on target with my new lifestyle.

Not quite as many miles covered this week, mainly because we have been very busy in the office and the weather hasn't helped, but hopefully get out more next week.

Quite a busy week workwise, so on office days not so much activity is possible, which means an extra walk in the evening is necessary, but as it is through the local woods at night I quite enjoy that as there are very few folk about and I get to hear the owls and foxes calling.
Was lucky enough to get a close up of a grass snake this week too as it crossed my path. Such a pretty creature. All bonuses of having to keep fit, beside the obvious benefits to my health. I am now almost addicted to walking (after 9 months of it) and feel bad if I don't make my target of 6000 steps a day.
