Woke up and got myself to the gym early today, 940 is early ;-) Did a super fast power through on the triceps. Rope 1 warm up, 3 sets. Then bent over cable 3 sets. Then machine assisted dips 4 sets, last one until failure. I quick jumped on the treadmill for 10 rounds of HIIT for a total of 30 mins.

I scooted off to class then after class had a massage therapy appt. OMG. Totally amazing... My shoulder/traps/neck were all SO tight. Going to try to save some more money so I can do that a few more times before the show.

My energy has been lower this evening... did not do my second cardio or posing but I got a paper finished--so that is one accomplishment!

The past few days I have really been craving sweet/carbs/chocolate and can't seem to turn it off! I started reading some books that I have to help refocus my energy away from my craving and look inside to find what may be bothering me (causing the cravings).

Tomorrow, I have to work. Then I'd like to either take a nap then go to the gym. I'd also like to start writing my paper about Love according to Plato (draft is due thursday next week!) Ok, thats the plan and I'm sticking to it!

I'm going to try to start keeping track of my workouts, supplements, and overall mood.

Today, I practiced posing for 15-20 minutes. I got real sweaty and cramped up. I had my pre-wo protein (egg) and felt really terrible. Then I went to the gym and did the following workout:
10 min warm-up @ 3.0% incline med walking pace (4mph)
10 sec increase up to 8.5/9.0 pace
30 sec at 8.5-9.0 pace (heart rate ~180-190)
1 min (decreasing) to med pace 4.0
*repeat for 10 rounds total*
10 min cool down

I felt like I was going to get sick every time I sprinted but I pushed through it. After that I realized I had been feeling pretty crummy all day--unmotivated. And those sprints really woke me up and put me in a much better mood (those darn silly endorphins!)

2nd cardio of day--biked at home for 35 minutes at medium pace (120-125 average hr).

I was feeling a bit weak/queasy this morning and throughout the day. I'm suspicious of it being the lactose free whey protein I bought because that is the only thing I've changed in my diet. Going to take a few days off to see if I recover, then try it again. If I react then I'm bringing it back to GNC!

I brought lots of good food today. Green beans, fish, shrimp, scallops (an indulgence), hazelnut decaf coffee, hazelnut splenda flavoring, salsa, spinach, & almond milk (unsweetened!).
