It has been a gloomy day today, but not too cold. Good for dog walking, not too hot and not too cold. Food plan is going well and I am entering everything I eat. Tonight I am frying chicken for my hubby and using my air fryer for boneless, skinless chicken breast, followed up with green beans and cottage cheese.
I made asparagus for dinner last night, but it turned out fibrous, so I think the asparagus wasn't as fresh as thought it was going to be. Oh well!
I have enough healthy snacks saved in the fridge so I should get through the even without binging on food with no food value. I seem to shy away with logging my food when I have been cheating.
Maybe we can all keep our minds focused on our goal and get through the weekend. No big Easter meal, no chocolate bunnies, No Cadbury Eggs. Amen

Well the shorts are out and long pants and a sweatshirt are in. We had a brief peek at summer and now back to reality. It is beautiful tho, everything is green and all the fruit trees are in bloom.
I got up this morning and per SherryeB's advice I prepared my afternoon snack and set it in the refrigerator. It is 6 baby carrots, a mini cucumber cut in slices, a mini sweet pepper cut in rings. I thank her for the good common sense advice. It worked yesterday and it will work for me today.
Sometimes the simplest things are what gets you through the day.

I am going to try and stay at less than 1200 calories for a while. I had an excellent day. I rode my exercise bike, washed windows, and did some laundry. That along with walking my little dog kept the food cravings at bay and the windows look very nice if I do say so myself! I didn't get all the windows washed, so now I have a chore to do tomorrow. I will not snack after dinner! This is a promise I made to myself and I plan on keeping it.

I probably am not the only one that is having a problem staying focused on my woe. I get up in the morning all gung ho about my food plan and for most of the day I stick to it then when late afternoon comes around, all hell breaks loose and I want to eat everything in sight. This stay at home thing is taking it's toll, I can't go anywhere, not even up to the local thrift shop to browse.
Plus I am usually golfing this time of year and that is postponed too. I am trying to regroup yet again this morning.ARGHHH!

Oops! back up again! It is very hard to stay on track these days. I don't get to go bowling or play golf. My big hobbie now is what to eat and when to stop.
