Today's workout dvd: the firm CO
It looks like I can stick to the high intensity version as long as my will is strong. It is physically possible; all are up to my mental strength!

I set my DRI target as 1200 and calorie deficit as 500... Then, wait a minute. That means I need at least 1700 calorie activity. It is a simple fact, but I did not think about it at all. Feel so dumbo. If I do only workout dvd, my consumed calorie will be about 1500 which is not good enough. In order to pass 1700, I need to add 20-minutes exercise machine with moderate speed. 10-minutes push-ups/sit-ups & 10-minutes exercise machine would work too. The bottom line is that I need to do something else besides the FIRM dvd.

I have been wondering how cook books on FS works when data is modified. I made broccoli salad last night and added it to my cook book. Today I realized that the original recipe called shredded cheddar cheese. I bought mozzarella cheese but forgot to add it last night. So I add mozzarella cheese to FS cook book data and see how it affects to my entry of yesterday. Surprisingly, it remains the same as last night, did not overwrite to the new data (=calorie). It may be overwritten if I click on it and re-enter, but I am not dare to try it. This is a good news to me because ingredients, especially their quantity, of recipe are changed often, depend on what I have in refrige. Now I know how FS cook book works better, so I may use more often.

Today's workout dvd: the firm HCF
I think I haven't done this one a while. Surprisingly, I felt that my biceps are weaker than before. I had never problem with biceps work before. Or, it should not be a surprise, I guess. It is an undeniable fact that muscles get weak faster as we age, and I am feeling it.

Once again, I am going to aim 500 calories deficit a day. Exercise-wise, I record only real workout. All other hours are either rest or sleep. Because of this, I will set 400 calories deficit as my least target. If I can follow this and my progress goes well as calculations, then I should be able to reach my goal before the end of this year, or before my birthday in December.

Besides taking measurements on this weekend, I am planning to take pictures with my clothes that I used to be able to wear. 5 pounds make a big difference in fitting.

I come up with a good rewarding idea. Since I am aiming my target weight by the end of this year, I am going to put "Kindle (or any ebook reader)" as my carrot. I've been wanting Kindle, and November/December is a good time to buy it. I can't wait to get my Kndle!

Below is my measurements on June 2nd, last year. My current weight is pretty much the same = I gained my lost weight back and ended up pretty much the same place with the last year. Actually the same time last year, I was lighter than now...! So here they are...

Upper chest: 33.5
Bust: 35.5
Midriff: 30.5
Upper arm: 10.25
Waist: 27.0
Upper hip: 33.5
Lower hip: 36.0
Upper thigh: 19.5
Mid thigh: 19.5
Calf: 13.75
Weight: 122 lbs

The body parts to measure are from The FIRM's guidebook. I used to take my measurements in the morning on the weekend. If I remember, I'll record them tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll start record them from this weekend to check my progress.

I'm glad that I recorded them on FS although I was not sure at that time if I really would like to disclose my measurements here. It was easier to retrieve these my last year data.
