I started out at 316 lbs, and enough was enough, I was not feeling well, and my size 48 pants were getting tight. I started walking, and eating much better. Subway lunches, and light dinners. Now I just hit a flat point at the 270s, and need to push myself again to loose more.
UPDATE 11/2/09 --- not going up, still going down, not quickly, but I think that is a good thing, it does not feel like I am starving, nor am I killing myself with exercise (that is coming because I want to build up after loosing the fat.) In size 40 pants now, Large shirts from 3x, so I can see a huge difference. At the end of this road I will post before and after photos. Good luck everyone!
UPDATE 2/4/2010 --- after ups and downs, I am around the 250 mark again. I am updating this as I want to remind myself to do BETTER! I can not go off the diet plan, and eat junk expecting it to be OK, it never works out that way - this is a new way of life, and I can't look back. Only good foods, no junk! Good Luck Everyone!
UPDATE 3/17/2010 --- Fall off, get back on, don't look back, learn from the ups and downs and move on... had a small case of "life" that sort of caught me by surprise. But - as with all things - we just take care of what we can and do our best with the rest.
UPDATE - May 25 2010 --- Funny how things don't go as planned. Work cut staff, stress, and just not eating right, not walking or exercising and I find myself at 270 again.... I can not go back that way, I feel the extra weight and see it, I don't like it. So started today to eat right again - salad today for lunch. Time sure does go by fast, I was on track to make some of my goals, but got on the roller-coaster again.
