So I've given up coffee for a week now. I'm finally done with all the withdrawal headaches. I have to say that stopping coffee has gotten rid of SO many of my cravings. I'm not even really hungry. Normally, I would be pulling my hair out right now with cravings and I don't have ANY!!! Anybody else like that? Don't know if this is typical but its AWESOME! Barely hungry, no cravings and sweets taste too sweet. I really hope this lasts! Its making cutting down a breeze!
I've replaced coffee with green tea and an occasional Chai Tea. Just waiting for the energy levels to go up. I'm hoping! But can't have everything. I'm happy with the other benefits. No complaints!

First weigh-in in 82 days. I'm now ready to re-focus my energy and time on getting healthy. I have already made several changes since Wednesday and will stick to it! I need more energy and I need to focus on my health.
Goal for this week: join a gym and start working out 4 times a week!

Losing 0.6 kg a Week

Made burgers for supper tonight. Not like the regular ones. The buns were whole wheat. I added lots of spinach, tomatoes, onions and low-fat cheddar. I also made fries (ie baked slices of sweet potatoes, seasoned) Delicious! I gave myself a small patty so that I don't over eat. For eating healthy, even my husband was full and satisfied!

Talk about a wake-up call, as if not fitting in any clothes weren't enough... Saw a complete stranger staring back at me in the bathroom's gigantic mirror. Couldn't avoid it this time. Things have gone out of hand for long enough. I can barely recognize myself. I've gained even in places I never used to. I don't think things have gone this far, this bad, this repulsive before. Yes, I find myself very repulsive. This is not what I ever wanted or intended for myself. What has happened? Me, the control-freak that has lost complete control over the one thing I should have the most control over. I need to really focus on this. I cannot let myself get discouraged when the weight doesn't just "fall" off. This has to end NOW!
