Fondue damage: 0.4 lbs gain. I won't even update my weight tickler cause it'll be gone by tomorrow, if it kills me!
I really want to join my local gym but we've been really short on money with my husband's boss not paying him what he owes him. The gym has a special of $99 for 3 months. I'm working a couple extra shifts this week, maybe I can pull it off. I really hope so!

Down 2 lbs! Yay. But I pretty much blew it tonight. We were invited for a chocolate fondue. They made waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausages, brown chocolate fondue, white chocolate fondue, candies, marshmallows, several kinds of fruit etc...
So basically, there was no way I was walking out of there skinnier. Well, I did the best I could under the circumstances. I didn't want to make them feel bad so I took 1/4 of a waffle and piled it high with fruit. Yes, I had chocolate on it but I could not not have any because they all knew how crazy I am for chocolate. But I didn't have any pancakes and really tried to fill up on the fruit. I didn't even finish my little piece of waffle.
It was NOT easy. But the good thing is that I have about 4hrs of hard core yard work (shoveling gravel, raking, sweeping) to do tomorrow. I did 3 hrs today. So this will help burn off the damage of tonight's decadent cheat fest. Here's to no gain for tomorrow :)

Had a pretty good day today. Bad headache and tired but probably ToM being a pain, like usual.
Made decent food choices. Took the dog for a walk this morning. Ran errands all day and then went for a speed walk with my little dog again this evening for 30 minutes. My poor dog is soooo exhausted from all the walks and hikes I've been talking him on in the last few days.
Well, tomorrow I've got an interesting challenge: my dh and I have been invited to friends for fondue tomorrow evening. Brown and white chocolate, and they're making crepes and waffles. Oh my goodness!!!! What am I going to do? I couldn't refuse the invitation, nobody else is cutting down. I think I'm going to need to enlist the help of my husband and try very hard to stick to fruit and very little other foods... Oh boy. Let's hope my willpower is especially strong tomorrow!

So ToM is here. Usually I'm digging through the cabinets for chocolate or anything sweet. I'd even be going out to buy something I specifically crave. HOWEVER: this is my first ToM in 15 years that I have no cravings for sweets!
The only thing I can attribute this to is cutting out coffee from my diet. This is great. I'm really hoping that this will continue. It has always been my biggest challenge, cravings. It has been the main reason for my previous lack of long lasting success at dieting. If only I had figure this out years ago...
