I became a vegetarian to I would become healthier and not have to count calories. Now, I find my life is all about counting calories. Some vegan foods are high in calories. Lol. I have to plan my meals very carefully. The more I learn the more weight I lose.

Once a week on Mondays is my detox day. Which each meal consist of 2 starch and 2 fruits. No added salt or sugar. No diet sodas. This is suppose to detox and cleanse my system and keep me from hitting plateaus. This a concept from the Rice Diet. But I wonder if this works because I have taken so many different diet concepts and made it my own custom diet. Do anyone esle have a detox day? I have not hit a plateau let. But I keep my calories low in count and exercise.

I really enjoy the app calorie counter. It help me plan my meals and know what I am eating. I am not a breakfast person and been trying muscle milk as a breakfast. As a vegetarian I did not realize that I would have to count calories much. But the truth is that a lot of vegan foods are high in calories. So last month I eat healthy but lost only 4lbs. This week I will monitor everything more closely and take long walks.
