After being sick for the last two weeks, I finally get to go to the gym again. My weight went up, but not as high as I thought it would. I'm still hackin' and coughin', but I'll live!

I am a little frustrated by my plateau. I need to re-evaluate my exercise and eating plan. I have bounced around on 300 for a long time now, but I know I have lots of fat to lose.
I am however running on average about 4-1/2 to 5 miles a day. So my body may be fat, but my heart is in the best condition it's ever been!

I think that one difference for me this time is that I am doing strenuous recording of my food and activity. I keep a log of what I eat, and see my ratio of Carbs, Fats, and Proteins. I haven't realized how much my diet is overloaded with fat and carb. I am getting more control, and so I am losing weight. I also eat many small meals throughout the day now. Grazing, and never gorging!
I recommend the book, "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle" by Tom Venuto.

I did it! I got up this morning even though my sweetie stayed in bed with a painful OTR night. I rarely get up and go to the gym when she doesn't so this is a great accomplishment for me!
Ha! 2009 is going to be a great year!

Getting going again. I haven't really gained weight since I dropped off the radar back in September. I have pretty much been eating healthily, and exercising quite regularly. I have picked it back up since the week before Christmas, and my exercise is going great! I am very committed to exercise and good eating.
