July 10, 2021. Once again bouncing around weight-wise from 142 to 144. New goal is 138. If I persist and behave sensibly that will happen too, even as the lbs off since I was 189 on January 8, 2020 have happened.
Ate a rich salad last night which made my tummy uncomfortable in the night.
Blood sugar is 150 this morning, a usual result of having an upset stomach. Weight this morning is 142.8.

finally reached goal, 142. It took 17 months but I am grateful that the resolution came to me and that it affected my health so well. Blood pressure 111/64 this morning, and A1C still lower than 7 despite allowed to stop one of my two blood sugar meds.

May 5, 2021 Still at 144, blood sugar 92! Today I an not indulging in even one ounce of bread. Blood sugar this morning was 92. Still striving to stick to not eating after 3 p.m. Problem sometimes is scheduling because of other obligations, and at other times, I get really hungry at 5 p.m. However I try to keep whatever I eat after 3 to less than 100 calories and not more than two or three ounces total. Still, that bread I crave, a lovely chewy, salty olive bread, seems to be holding me bac although I eat only 1 ounce. Maybe being allergic to gluten, even one ounce results in water retention. Also I have not maintained the rule of not eating until I have a blood sugar of 100. That is a very effective way to get fat off. On the other hand, I have lost 55 lbs in the past year without weakness or other problems except the expense of replacing size Extra Large with size Small. Blood pressure and sugar levels have been low. Still, I have a wide waist and plump lower body. My goal is to lose 8 lbs more, which at the rate I am going, might take until next October. But as Pat B. used to say, if we are not losing, we are gaining, being voracious pyknic style gals, created by nature to talk and eat, and generally seek the good life. Too bad joyful feasting is not that good for anyone in this land of Plenty.

may 3, 2021 having trouble getting the program to move to may. Today I ate two meals but they were large. 500 for breakfast and the following for lunch/supper. 1/2 avocado,4 oz chicken, 3 pieces thin bacon,green salad, 35 caolries,dressing 40. 160 plus probably 180 for chicken breast, plus 150, .Not so much really but verysatisfying,also had a second cup of soy milk.green

April 27 still one lb up, but going down. 144 lbs and blood sugar a surprising 156. Not sure why. No sugar and little starch yesterday but a lot of juicy and tender roast. apparently too much.
