I went off the rails after enduring a massive low with my manic depression. I was overdue the downer but still takes me by surprise and then I eat a lot as a way of attempting to feel better. I'll be beginning again very shortly and know from past experience that I'll shift a lot of what I have put on quite quickly so that's a comfort. Gym, here I come!

Oh dear, my diet has been a terrible one for the past week and the scales reflect this. Thanks to a friend though, I now have a 14 month membership to a gym and I am now taking advantage of this. I am working hard to turn down offers of fattening foods and doing quite well so far. In the meantime, I will be working out and eating strictly until this excess comes off.

I have been very good with this diet so far. I have resisted the lure of the takeaway and subway sandwich and continued on my low calorie, quorn munching lifestyle. I am still very determined to continue further and earn that body that I have been working so hard for.
I have seen a difference already and that is motivating me to carry on with the exercise on the Wii Active which I must say is a far, far better program than I ever thought it would be. I have noticed that my waist has been pulled in a lot more and my upper arms are a lot smaller than the huge bingo wings that I used to sport!. I am just working towards minimising the fatty areas around the backs of my legs and belly which I think are the problem areas that are going to be the last places the fat's going to disappear from. But disappear they will.

I have been very careful with my diet and am hoping for some good results these next few weeks. My goal is to hit this next new year looking fabulous and I am still very determined to do this. I promised myself this last new year when I was very chunky and uncomfortable. I had been overweight for what felt like ages, and probably was ages too. I got fed up with it, I had kept promising myself that I would diet but never got past the first couple of weeks. I feel more determined than ever now and hoping that this xmas I will be looking much, much better. I still have a couple of photo's from the previous year where I have many, many, many chins and I hate it!

I have been good, using my Wii Active but starting on the lowest intensity and working my way up. I also did some exercise on the lateral trainer which burned off a good few calories. I have been including potatoes in my diet to hopefully give me some of the energy that I have been seeking in bad, processed foods that have low nutrient contents.
