Good Morning!

This morning I woke up at 5am because my two year old was whimpering in his bed. I went in there and realized I had not closed their window all the way and he was chilly. Got him all bundled up and warm and went to crawl back into bed for another 45 minutes of sleep and I just felt restless. SO instead I went downstairs, pulled on my running shoes, put the dog on her leash and went out for a run before hubby had to leave for work and the kids got up and the madness started.

It was SO nice! It was so peaceful and quiet and still outside. Just the sound of my breathing and Daisy's collar jingling. I could really collect my thoughts and prepare for my day.

I start watching ANOTHER baby starting monday. She's 8 months old and will be coming 4 days a week. I already take care of a 10 month old and 2 year old 5 days a week, 12 hours a day, plus have my own 2 year old, 3 year old, 5 year old and 10 year old. I'm honestly dreading it, but we need the income. I've been so stressed out from just the thought of adding more madness to the mix, that I've had no motivation to stick with the plan. I'll have a few great days, and then a few horrible ones. Yesterday was a bad one. This morning when I first woke up I stepped on the scale and it said 156. That's FOUR POUNDS more than it read on sunday morning. I know I'm just all bloated and whatever, but this has got to end. It's not even like I eat a lot or anything, I just get bored and start munching on random stuff. We don't even have any real "junk food" in our house.

Anyways... last night I went out and again STOCKED up on Fat Flush stuff. My little sister is finally ready to start with me, so that will be helpful.

My mother in law gave me an Old Navy gift card for my birthday. I was going to "wait" to go shopping until I lost weight, but instead I'm going to go tonight and buy a pair of REALLY cute jeans in the size I want to be, and then hang them on my closet door. That way I'll see them everyday as motivation!

Well... the ankle-biters are attacking me for sitting down at the computer... gotta go!

Have a great day, everyone!

Hi everyone!
Well, my week back on Phase One turned into my "pre-flush" instead. With my birthday (and going out to dinner two nights in a row) there were too many little cheats here and there to count it as a phase one. SO, at least it was a week of cutting out carbs and sugars and drinking all of my cran-water and everything... I still lost 2 more pounds this week, and I bet it would have been more but yesterday I ate lots of off-limit stuff all day. The night before last hubby and I went to the Arcalight in Hollywood to see "No Country For Old Men" (just read the book last week... it's AWESOME.) We went to a REALLY late showing with some friends, and then went out for "breakfast" afterwards. (I was even good and just nibbled on some scrambled eggs.) But then yesterday while trying to make it through the day on 2 1/2 hours of sleep, I gave in and ate a big 'ole bowl of pasta for lunch. I still did my cranwater, and I'd had my whey smoothie for breakfast...but once the afternoon hit I was eating random stuff just to help me stay awake, lol.
Also, the day before I was out running with my 10 month old lab, Daisy, and I was right towards the end of my run and feeling great and running fast and all of a sudden something caught Daisy's attention and she bolted across in front of me and I tripped over her leash and went down HARD on the pavement. It was on a busy street, so TOTALLY embarrassing. I felt okay that night, but then yesterday my shoulder and hip just ACHED. I got a walk in yesterday, and I'm going to try to today, but this morning my whole body hurts! I might just take it easy and count cleaning the house as my exercise for today!
Anyways... thanks for being such great motivators and keeping me accountable. You're all doing so great!

My little sister just came by and brought me a "fat flush" friendly lunch... A big "salad" (basically like a whole GIANT bag of just spinach leaves) with chopped up grilled chicken and veggies. I just topped it with my flaxseed oil/apple cider vinegar/lemon juice and ate the whole thing... MAN am I stuffed! I had a berry/whey smoothie for breakfast today.
We're not going to Black Angus anymore, but out for my very favorite food in the whole wide world...SUSHI! I know, I know... I've read all the ALG stuff on sushi. I'll try to stick to FF stuff, but it IS my birthday after all. ;-P
Thanks again for all the bday wishes... Yeah, I do want to be a healthy role model for my kids...My 10 year old daughter is already a super health-nut freak though (She would take spinach and broccoli over candy or sweets ANY day, has been that way all her life and spends her free time doing stuff like pilates) but the little three are typical "I'd live off chicken nuggets if they let me" kinda little people. Plus, when my youngest is 18 (he's 2 now) I'll be 42. Hopefully I'll still be a hot-mama and hubby and I can enjoy the "youth" we never had! (The downside to having your first baby at 17.)
Keep up the great work everyone!
