And as predicted, the weight drops of the next day although not all of it at this time.
I did learn something today. Do not weigh yourself just after breakfast! That food and drink just sit there unprocessed and makes the scale go up! If you're wondering, breakfast was a serving of steel cut oats, a hard boiled egg, and a smoothie 🥤.
Non-scale win of the day is that I finally got up and went to the gym in the morning between 5 and 6!

Losing 1.3 kg a Week
29 April 2019
OH MY GOD! A 1.2 pound increase?! 😭 Especially frustrating since yesterday's calories were good, exercise and movement were high, and I practiced mindful eating which stopped me from eating a whole portion (only ate 1/3).
Of course my body is hurting today and that could be inflammation as well as some water weight. I've had this happen before where I go up a pound+ only to drop it the next day.
BREATHE, Breathe, breathe. Find a non-scale win and continue the program.
*Sometimes I hate the scale 😉

Keeping with the pattern, the rise is followed by a fall. I am at my lowest weight for the year although no where near where I will be at the end of this year.
I am 6.1 pounds of being within 100 pounds of my goal weight. in just 0.4 pounds, I will have lost 25 pounds for the year. If I do it by the 30th, I will average just over 6 pounds lost per month.

Damn! Am increase. Time to look back and realize that I've had greater increases before good decreases.
I have an appointment with the doctor so now I have a target date for that milestone. I know he will be shocked at the weight loss. That will be a non-scale win!

Gaining 1.9 kg a Week

Another small change day. Yesterday I struggled to reach my calorie zone. I didn't make it.
The thing is I didn't realize that I had eaten so few calories. I wasn't hungry at anytime after eating so I was sated. I had plenty of energy, almost doubled the daily movement budget, I ate dinner at a fancy restaurant, I even dipped into my Easter basket a couple of times.
I've been following #Noom for 16 weeks now. I must say that all the #PsychTips they give you really add up and are effective as evidenced by my weight loss graph. The best thing about this program, and they've stated this several times, is that the goal is to be able to live without having to rely on the program. Yesterday proved that without the app, I was making good choices. A good example is they say eat without any screens and for dinner, I turned off my phone and just concentrated on dinner with the wife.
