Here we are. It is February. It is almost like I dread the progression of winter...because I had promised myself I will come out of it much thinner..
Second day at the same 227, 2 up since Monday, and I cannot tell what is it I am doing wrong. I do not think I am eating too many cals (1300/er day, at my height 5'9"). I am on track with carbs...under 20.
Could it be a plateau? I just started though, on January 5...Lost 13 since, and now I am getting stuck, and this is a moment when I lose confidence and patience...

Good morning, buddies, and happy Monday (well as much as possible, even though week-end for me is a lot of house work, groceries, laundry, cooking...)--sounds familiar? :-)
Yey! 3 down this week. Eating very carefully. Sleeping well. I am experimenting with Erythrol, as the Paleo people say it is not upsetting your stomach. It does, mine,...so back to Saccharin. Not more than 3 a day (trying). What other good (sweet and little carbs)sweetener are you guys using, which is not upsetting stomach? Maybe I should go back to Splenda...

Hello dear buddies,
Hope you are having a pleasant Monday. Gere in NJ we are waiting for a northeaster, wind and rain, no snow...yet.
I dr9opped 2 last week...following the 10 lbs initial drop in the first 10 days.
If I could now do 2 lb a week, that would be so wonderful. I must find a way to exercise. I am trying to get in dr. Berg's recommendation for kale shake. However one cup of kale seems to have over 5 carbs, and with everything else, it throws me over 20 carbs...

So, with this coming week I am starting the real weight loss process, after the initial abrupt loss of 10 lbs. I started taking dr. Berg's Wheatgrass juice powder, and some kale smoothie, fresh cranberries. Trying to stay at 1300 calls, and max of 20 carbs. Let's see. I have basically 65 lbs to go to 165, but I want to see myself at 198 first. Just a little under 200.
