I've been struggling with my weight since my first pregnancy 15 years ago. I had a major injury skiing this year, a tibial plateau fracture in my left leg. This resulted in 2 surgeries and a week in the hospital. I then had to wait 3 months before I could put any weight on the leg and from there it took another 6 weeks to really be able to get around without my crutches. Even now I still limp when I walk. I've been in therapy twice a week since the beginning.
This injury really made me think about my health and the health of my family. I want to be a better roll model for my children. The right way to eat health and maintain your weight through exercise. I am now trying to get in 3-4 days of cardio and 3 days of weight training.
I know I can do this.
