Hi, I am 22 years old and am from the beautiful state of Montana. I've always been a larger, more muscular girl and come from a larger family. Things started going out of control two years ago when I took a job at a call center. Sitting for eight hours a day pushed me 40 pounds heavier in only ten months, hitting a breaking point for me at 265. I quit my job temporarily but was so depressed and stressed that I continued to put on another 10 pounds in the next four months. I took back my old job and managed to drop 15 pounds my first few months back.
I've never been one to count calories or obsess over food. Food is life and necessary and I've never wanted another stressor in my life, so monitoring it like a hawk is terribly unappealing to me. I have been attending the gym on a semi-regular basis with a good friend of mine, however my weight still hasn't budged since that initial weight loss five months back. I need something to push me down to pre-call-center-weight!
I am enjoying keeping a food journal because its moreover a game rather than a burden. I'm hoping something about this site will help me reach my goal!
