I am 39 years old and found myself suddenly overweight. I never really cared that I was putting on the weight until I found out that I had two herniated discs in my back that caused a muscle to tear. That put me in the hospital, and of course they have to weigh you. I kind of freaked. Then, not knowing what I weigh, my uncle asked for 25 lbs from me for Christmas. Wake up call! Now my family is worried! Time to take action! After careful research, I decided that South Beach was the way to go because it's not really a diet, but a new way of living. I can still have all of the things I love, except now they have more nutritional value. NO MORE POTATO CHIPS!!!!
