Anyone else get angry when people try to get you to be unhealthy? I have been nit-picked and harassed so much this week for wanting to skip out on happy hours and bake sales and parties in order to keep my calories in check and have time to go to the gym. I seriously feel like getting rid of all my friends so I always have time to go to the gym and not have temptation in front of me. UGH.

wow....I can totally empathize. It seems like whenever I hang out with a certain group of friends it's like instant crap food, beer, etc. It's almost a sense of peer pressure that you would get back in the day...."everybody's doing it" mentality. Needless to say that same group of friends hardly are in the gym and could care less for making even the slightest effort to go.

I get you girl. I had to change to a 30 minute lunch hour to resist the temptation of going out to eat daily with my coworkers. This way I pack what I am going to have for lunch and eat healthy. So what if I sit and eat ALONE. It is my me time geared towards making me healthy.

As a joke, someone came by my desk today when I wasn't there and put a huge piece of chocolate cake in front of my computer. SO RUDE! Ugh. I didn't eat it :) I knew if I had one bite I wouldn't stop.

People at work joke with me too! I think they are jealous of the will power we have. I cannot believe your before and after . . . that is amazing! Do you have any secrets? I feel like I have been stuck at this weight for months or forever it seems!!!! I work out at least for or more times a week and eat pretty healthy. Any words of advice???

The only trick I have found (I still stumble and get stuck too) is that it's all a math equation. Calories in has to be 3500 less per week than calories out. And to do this and not be constantly hungry, I have to fill up on low-calorie stuff, the best of which is fruits and vegetables, fish and chicken. AND it is a slow process! I am still barely losing 1 lb per week. This part sucks, but it is so worth it in the end! Thanks for your nice words and support!

totally agree.. I quit drinking alcohol as well to kick start my weight loss and it's driving me crazy with all the "are you serious" and "it's just one dessert".. yeah, one dessert that's worth my entire days calories!
