It has been two weeks since I started back on the track of getting healthy and loosing weight again. I feel great! I may have only lost a couple of kilos - but my clothes feel looser on me, my skin is glowing, my eyes are bright and I feel much better, way more energy and I am not waking up with aches in my fingers and headaches. Hooray!
Definitely has helped being on the Raw Til 4 diet. Cutting out bread and cheese has also helped me, but I have had some treats, chocolate - so don't feel deprived. My husband can't believe I am loosing weight eating what I do - last night I had four sweet potatoes and three baby potatoes steamed and then lightly baked in the oven - plus some cauliflower bites and salad. I think because I am not hungry I am not obsessing about food. Drinking more water has also helped and I am not drinking as much tea as I used to. Needless to say I am enjoying this high carb diet while all my friends have joined the Tim Noakes' ranks and are eating a low carb/high fat diet!! I must just stay on this journey this time and not fall off the bus!
