Day 2 - I ended up doing really well yesterday. I ate all healthy foods, stayed under my calorie goal, and I even exercised (a little). I felt very proud of myself at the end of the day, and I felt good physically. I heard that there was cake in the office across the way, but I remained in control and didn't even bother to go look at it knowing that I would give in if it was in sight. I never really felt too hungry yesterday because I practically ate all day. I began with oatmeal for breakfast, a clementine for a morning snack, some filling past for lunch, a clementine for an afternoon snack, a stick of cheese before I ended my work day, and I ate a smaller portion at dinner (which was easier since I ate smaller bites and took longer to chew each bite). Slowing my eating down was difficult because I'm use to scarfing my food down, but it did help me to feel fuller earlier with less food consumed. I even slept a little better last night than I normally do.

When I woke up this morning, I felt as if my body was toner (even though I know it's not an over night event, lol). I felt healthier and able to face the day. I started my day with some Wii exercises (Wii fitness w/ some of the games and w/ yoga). I enjoy the games, but I really enjoyed the yoga. It's been too long since I've done it. I felt my muscles were too tight and out of shape. It was difficult doing those exercises. It use to be easier since I was doing them on a regular basis. This will definitely be something that I want to aim to have again.

I couldn't believe it when I weighed in when I got to work. The scale said I had lost 1 pound. I find it hard to believe that I lost a pound in one day, but that's what it said. It did make me feel good about my progress yesterday to see that slightly lower number. Can't wait to see what it says in the morning tomorrow.
