I will not be a slave to my scale. I refuse to weigh myself until I have gone to the gym 14 times and eaten clean for 14 days. It's not about the weight but how I feel and how my clothes fit. I am more than a number.

At the gym 3 days in a row. Tracking food intake again but not 100%. Since I make most food from scratch its so time consuming to add 1/4 a cup of all the veggies I eat. I have tried to get a trainer at my gym to give me the extra kick in the ass but so far no one has gotten back to me. It's been a week. Their department sucks at this. If it wasn't so convenient I would switch to a gym that wanted to take my money. 80% results come from food so I will just keep making healthy meals and do what I can until I find a trainer I like....or that will call me. lol

Time to get back at it! My thyroid med threw off my weight and then lack of motivation due to watching a family member pass away due to cancer took its toll. The husband lost his job out of state and is back home full time but his lack of motivation sucked me in too. Now it's up to me to take control again. Luckily this app is always here for me.

For the longest time (even though I know better) it has always been about the number on the scale or I would join a challenge to lose weight. After starting Insanity 7 weeks ago I FINALLY understand it isn't about the number. I will no longer join challenges that has the goal to lose weight. My new goal is to go from skinny fat to skinny fit. Since starting Insanity I have only seen about a 3 pound weight loss. However I have seen numerous inches fall off my body. After every workout my husband remarks about the difference he sees in my legs. He says they literally change every day. I have found an eating plan that works for me. I am not cutting anything out. I am not deprived of anything. I have found a new lifestyle. This is a program and plan that I can live every day. No guilt.
