Back a few years ago, I was having a very hard time losing weight. I was in weight watchers and could not lose! I saw my primary care physician who suggested that when there's stress in the life, it can slow down our metabolism. She suggested eating smaller meals, eating more often 5-6 times a day and limiting my calories to 800 a day, in addition to doing low carb - since I am candida sensitive. At the time, I was doing office work and could not eat that many times. I guess it was a mental block. Anyway, I remember getting a lot of criticism from friends, acquaintances and weight watchers group members that helped define more anxiety about my diet. They said it was "dangerous" and "unhealthy". This added to more anxiety and unsurity of the validity of my doctors advice.

I made some life changes, decisions, shifts in my perception that affected my life and I decided to trust my doctor more and follow her advice exactly. I started losing weight like a teenager! My metabolism picked up and I started to have more energy and confidence! I began to believe in myself and trust my self more and the reasons why I went to see my doctor from the get go!

It's been a few years since I had done this diet and I regained the weight because of reckless eating. I started confronting some of my food intolerances and health issues with a shifted perception. My food intolerances are 99% gone, but absorbtion is still a concern. I question why the body cannot process these foods and turns them into fat. (though i don't get sick from them anymore, this is an achievement) but I'm still exploring the mind/body (noetic) attachments to certain foods.

So, i'm back on the 800 calorie a day diet and watching great things happen to my body and mind. I'm impressed with my dreams (all positive psychological changes) and my metabolism is doing very well.

I do not have an expectation of lost pounds, but ounces and they all add up to create an absolute weight loss and to meet my goals!

I am happy!
