Not a brilliant week, due to bad back and poor meal management. This weather (very, very wet; very, very windy) makes me hungry - very poor excuse, I know. And people keep inviting us out to eat. Will do better this week.

Visitors, meals out, cold and wet and windy weather, walking the dog in that weather - all have conspired to make me so hungry this week. But onwards and upwards. I'm going to plan my week now and it will mean I'll lose some proper lbs. Come on Jilly...

Have decided to use the Fat Secret food log - because I probably don't realise (or do not want to realise) how many calories I eat on a non fasting day. I have been having a good slug of 1% milk in my decaff coffee during the day. I see, having filled in the log today, that is probably more than 300 calories. I will buy some non fat milk (I thought that was what I was drinking but just noticed the 1% on the bottle) and cut down the amount I drink. Tea would be the answer (I drink rooibos, non caffeine tea) which I do like, but it just doesn't fill the hole like a coffee with a splash of milk and a sweetener. I will also log my exercise. Walking the dog every day must be using up some calories! Hey ho. Onwards and upwards...
