Good evening to my FS team mates.

Today was the day. 52 weeks of diet change, woke to a nice little 2 pound drop.

Total body weight loss 117 lbs (or 32% of my body mass).

Went to annual dr apt today. It's official.

Dr was extremely happy with weight loss , wants me to continue what I'm doing however: does not want me to lose any more than 5 more pounds.

Now I Go into maintain mode/ toning a little. Those new 38 jeans I bought are going to fit and not be snug. (Started this journey wearing 50's). Not to bad for 59 years old.

Dr changing blood pressure meds (cut them in half). 90 days return for follow up on readings ( mid Jan)

Had my omelet for dinner (it's been a year since I have had any eggs) , At some hole in the wall joint, kinda bland. Added some salsa to it and it was good. .

I have changed my new goal to 240 lbs, I suspect I will drop below it as It’s been so long eating clean, and I’m afraid to regain that weight, I will have Occasional slice of pizza and not the whole pie, an occasional ice cream small not super deluxe, a hot dog on the 4th of July, and yes the eggs, damn I missed them. Potatoes, noodles, rice and bread will remain a thing of the past for now.

I did this to me, and I paid the fiddler getting rid of it !!! I do not want a repeat. I have not been at this weight in over 20 years.

Good morning FS
Woke this morning, scale still moving, 7 more days till my DR appointment, sure could use 3-4 more pound drop before then to accommodate for my clothing. I don’t think they would appreciate me showing up in my birthday suit. 🤪

Im still uncertain how much more weight I will lose, thinking another 30x pounds (28 as of this am)… will have to adjust it in here, Hope it doesn’t go red again…. Weight should slow down, as I will be slowly adding in the foods I have cut out (eggs, avocado, nuts, milk, all the heavy fatty foods)

I needed the space to vent, find new foods and ideas to get through this journey. I thank you all for being there for me when times got tough (and the times I needed a swift kick in the seat of my pants).

Over the last 51 weeks, have had good weeks, as well as the frustration of stalls(plaques). During this journey, I have averaged a weekly loss of 2.25 pounds, In the beginning weight seemed to be flying off, with some weeks struggling during the stall of 10-14 days after my monthly injection of steroids to treat my ailment.

Well good day my FS friends.

I have done it, made my weight goal for 20 October, any extra is a plus !!

113 lbs of body mass gone, in less than a year, and no craziness at the gym to boot.

Celebrated with a nice 13.5 mile bike ride.

Will figure out how much more I want to lose after seeing my doctor.
20 October celebratory omelette here I come !!!!
