Last week was not a good one. Missed workouts, made most of them up though this weekend. Also went out to eat mid-week and all weekend. I guess i stalled for a week, but i'm more motivated now than ever to get back into it and drop into the 180's by Saturday. Good luck to me.

First week done. Pretty good, a lot of water weight off (6 lbs since sunday). Kenpo cardio today really motivated me back into getting ready to start another week. I think i might squeeze one more week of weight loss here before my numbers plateau.
I've been cheated and drinking fake-sugar soda's the last two days. weakness... i know i gotta avoid those to keep off the fluid weight. So Kathy hid all of them on me, for me. Good for her. haha.

Exercised Shoulder and Arms yesterday. Took it pretty easy in fact, given i was still sore from Sunday's Chest and Back workout. Well last night woke up with extreme pain in my right shoulder, couldn't move my arm, had to take aspirin and naproxen just to fall asleep. It felt as though my muscles were contracted and trapped between the bones. Awful feeling.
Well this morning they are better, it must have been some nasty muscle cramping. I remember in the army during basic training, a lot of us got these horrible leg cramps in the first few weeks of activity because our bodies were not used to exercise. I have a feeling this is similar, just happens to be in the shoulder muscles this time rather than the thighs and calfs.

Starting off today, Jan 4th 2009. Goal 20-25 lbs weight loss with increased muscle toning. Friends and I have P90X workouts and new gym opening soon... so the last piece of the puzzle is diet and this site seems perfect for following and managing this most crucial aspect.
3 months of work, ending April 4th, hopefully at target. First month will be protein heavy (50% calories), though i can't see how this is going to be possible.
Lets go...
