A word or two about micronutrients. Now that I’m trying to balance macros, which can be painstakingly done, I’ve tried not to lock into the exact same foods every day because that then feels like a chore.
To keep a high interest level in my food I am trying to make it as varied as possible but still staying very close to my goal values. Assume on a given day I have a 2000 calorie goal, in the early days I knew I could eat 1500 calories or 1200 calories and I thought, look at me how clever I am.
Of course we all know that going way under the goal value is as bad as going over it, so now I manipulate to get as close to the daily goal value.
This is where micronutrients can cause strife, as some foods are too high in this or too low in that, some they say there is no set number just don’t have too much. It’s a bit of a minefield if you want to go that deep into it. Just letting you know. 😂🤣😂

So it’s late/early Sunday/Monday, lol, technically it’s 1:08 am Monday and my week just ended and a new one begins after I sleep and wake up.
So I tore some muscle in my back, which mucked around with my activity schedule, but of course did not interfere with my food intake.
Since my last weigh in last Friday morning I have been very close to my goal targets and did a lot of eating. I now have till this coming Friday on lower goal values than the weekend.
I am being as close to perfect with my macros as I possibly can. I still feel I am eating too much and this next weigh in is the acid test. If I lose weight at this higher goal value, then I’ll stick with it. If I don’t lose weight, I’ll revert to my lower instinctive loss value and carry on losing weight as I have done this year since 1/1/24. I know the rate slows down proportionally the more you lose, this isn’t about time.
