Hmmm - not doing so well :0( cannot weigh myself till tomorrow because i left the bloody scale at the house sitting job - am back there tomorrow so we shall see....have been working hard in the gym though....its just i know I have probably been cheating a bit here and there....nibbling naughty things. Anyway, on the whole i am keeping on track and I now have about 5 weeks to go....so, still time to lose!! Its funny how the smallest things can derail one -like last night - a messy house made me really want to reach for the Chardonnay!!

39 sleeps to go before I once again leave Blighty for the US. I am trying hard to stick strictly to the diet though it is hard at weekends and hard not to have one glass of wine in the evenings! But, have decided to train almost every day - either spinning or pump and I may try Zumba or Body Combat to change things up a bit. I still have 10 lbs to lose but I am going to give it my best shot :0)

I am really fed up with myself as drank too much and ate too much at the weekend now I am over 150lbs again :0( - so I HAVE to get myself back on track starting today. This has to become THE most important thing in my life other than work.... no more cheating, no more crap food, nibbling and consuming vats of wine!! Surely I can manage six weeks of self-discipline? I am cancelling all my social engagements except for when my brother comes up at the beginning of September. Gonna try low-carb as I know this is a style of eating that can be adapted for anywhere in the world and thinking when I go to the US i don't want to be counting calories etc the whole time. Instead of feeling deprived i am going to focus on all the good this new regime will do me and how much better i feel when i am in control and how proud i will be to step off that plane at 140lbs, having got things back on track and also able to relax on my next trip. Its a no brainer..I have everything to gain, so going to take it day by day, hour by hour... and try to use exercise as much as possible to boost a positive mind set and tackle anxiety.

OK. So - the way I see it - I have six weeks - just six weeks of my life.. to do something different. To eat less and train more. To FOCUS! really - do i love wine more than i love the idea of going back to the USA in six weeks 8lb lighter? or even more? come on..its just six weeks! surely I can at least save the wine for saturday nights.... its all about control. I know about control. I did it for years. I CAN DO THIS. 6 x 2 = 12 ..right? i could nearly lose a stone!!
