:) Got on the scale this morning (just curious) and found I lost almost 2 pounds since yesterday.

I'm SOO exhausted. My 23 month old has been getting up in the middle of the night and staying up for a good hour. He initially wakes up because he can't find his paci (I'll be weaning him off of that after we get potty training in..), and then he'll start crying, and gets completely awake. This isn't a good thing, considering I'm going to be around midnight or so every night, thanks to homework and night-studying. So for the past 3 nights in a row, he's been getting up around 3 or so.. and won't go back to sleep until 4 or so. And he will awake the second time around 7. It feels like I'm back when he was under a year old, and I was still nursing.. I'm NOT digging this. Oh, and did I mention he'll only go back to sleep when he's in MY bed? I'm NOT having this. We stopped co-sleeping when he was 6 months.. and I like my space. (Morning gripe... I'm tired, and hurting because of the position I was stuck in all night.)

Hopefully during his nap time, I'll get a workout in, and a better outlook on this day. :) I guess I can say I'm happy about having lost almost 5 pounds in 3 days.. but that's it so far.

My grumpy butt is off to convince Owen to eat his breakfast.

Well, I'm not doing an official weigh in until next week.. but I got on the scale this morning and I'm down 3 pounds!! :) AND since getting back on track, and doing random toning exercises for around my midsection, I've noticed my waist/muscles coming through.. and fat is decreasing around that area. Totally awesome.

Oh, and this morning, my beagle/boxer mix decided to make a run for it through the fence gate, and I swear that I wanted to kill her when she made me RUN after her. I haven't been on a walk, let alone a jog, in a WHILE, and to do a sprint after her almost knocked me out. lol, but I did catch her and carried her 50 pound muscular body back to the corner of our street, where I met up with my mother holding my little boy. She thought I could let her go, and tell her to go home (YEAH RIGHT).... she took off again to the house across the street's fence.. to bark at their dogs and run up and down the fence.. lol, my mom gave Owen to me, and ran after her like I did.. came back after 5 minutes carrying her too like I did. She was cursing Shadow under her breath and put her behind the in the backyard again. Lordy, it was a sight to see..

All I want to say is MAKE sure you close your gates very well if you have dogs. Shadow is a sprinter/rabbit chaser/FLYER..and I will NEVER do that again. :)

Oh, and I made some egg muffins/quiches this morning and they were SOO phenomenal that I couldn't stop munching on them all day, as you can clearly see in my food diary. 5! My mom liked them too.. but luckily, there is some for tomorrow morning's breakfast. And I will gain control over this eating. It's just hard when you're a girl, and you have cravings that just take over you like a werewolf's reaction of howling at the moon.

Today wasn't bad at all. Did alot of eating. Even worked out with the Phase 1 Total Body Workout. It was easy! Now, I just have to figure out if I want to do the interval walking like in the book or just do some great cardio for 20 minutes.

Didn't really have a headache today, but I did have the achey head feeling when you start to get a cold.. Tis the season. I'm just hoping with the lovely tea I drink and the better diet, it won't last long.

I think I have fallen in love with Almond milk. I found it at my Publix here in town, and OMG. Totally love it as a snack with either some cheese and celery, or on it's own. I did limit myself to having 1 glass today, but YUM.

I'm so exhausted. I have GOT to find a way to incorporate all this reading in with my daily grind/mommyhood and lecture-listening. I swear, I fell asleep out here in the craftroom/my new office like 3 times. 3 hours at night isn't enough time for all these classes. I might have to consider getting some help in the evenings with Owen, so I can get at least 2 more hours in.. Or, I could start sending him to bed earlier around 7-7:30p. Hopefully, I'll find a solution soon.

well, before this morning's egg white omelet, I weighed in. Not surprised by the number.. but it'll go away. I did VERY well today, and I'm satisfied, food-wise.

Tomorrow morning, I plan on working out to the total body workout (Hoping I can find a chair that will hold for me to workout on. Mom's fan of antiques, and that's what we've got. I'm sure the chaise lounge will work..) in the Supercharged book. I can't get over how quickly the cold front came in. It went from being 65 one day, to 32 the next. I'm SOO in need of a walk, but I'm just afraid of leaving my little Snowbunny in the stroller and not having him bundled up enough, without the blankets dragging on the ground. I will figure this out.

Will update.

I have a feeling either a cold is coming, or I'm experiencing sugar withdrawals with headaches. Something's off, and it's not fun waiting and seeing if my body's going to go into defense mode.

I hope you all had a great and safe weekend. I'm off to do some reading for classes.
