Okay okay OKAY!! Don't grill me.. Yes I had a WHOLE wheat tortilla. My mom made HOMEmade chorizo and spanish rice, and then had some whole wheat and regular homemade tortillas. So I slipped up. I had 1.5 tortillas.. But they were thin and whole wheat. I could have eaten 5 of those things, but I told myself "NO ANYA" outloud.. lol. My dad laughed at me. And then he goes "Mmmm..good".

Why must mexican food be OH SO YUMMY??

I must say, the chorizo I had on my plate (only one serving spoon full) went into my veggie chili, and it was amazing.

But anyway, I managed to buy a new Latin Dance workout video from 10 Minute Solutions AND picked up a set of ankle/wrist weights to start working on some toning while I do all these exercises. I'm hoping to burn off this yucky day tomorrow, and start over. Almost 2 tortillas are not going to kill me. I WILL get over this, and move on.

I can say though, I'm seriously full from dinner and do not wish to partake in any dessert. Things could have been worse today.

I did get some cardio in today, so maybe that'll help counter.

Okay, so I'm accepting that I did rather well my first week on Phase 1. 5-6 pounds lost is pretty good. I'm just hoping this week will be even better. I'm including more cardio in, along with the total body work out that I do every other day (depending on if ALL the dogs are in the house, and Owen's not climbing all over me.), so we shall see if it helps shed anymore.

I feel smaller this morning :) I put on an XL t-shirt, and it's starting to feel baggy around the waist-middle. I'm totally happy about that. I didn't weigh in this morning, because 1) I thought i was going to pass out, so I had to have some protein ASAP, and Owen wanted his milk ASAP.. :) But tomorrow I will weigh in for my official Phase 1 - Week 2 weigh in.

I hope I make great choices today. I hope I stay warm (because it's snowing in ALABAMA..) and I've got to drive to get some low sugar dressing and low fat mayo.

I hope YOU all have a great rest of the day. :) Almost time for a yummy snack! lol

Crustless pizza crust
crust for pizza, SBD phase 1
Ingredients
1 cup cauliflower, cooked, grated
1 cup reduced fat shredded mozzarella
1 large egg
1 tsp fennel seed
1 tsp leaves oregano
1 tsp parsley
Directions:
Cook cauliflower according to directions. Chunk it up to the size of rice kernels. Preheat oven to 440 degrees fahrenheit.
Mix together with cheese, egg and spices. Press into a non-stick cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
(This one varies slightly from the one in the recipe book..hence my not submitting for sharing..) It's about 50 calories or so less because of the reduced fat mozzarella.

Add about 2 tablespoons of a low sugar pizza sauce (I used Ragu..was very good, but might try making my own..) and swirl it around, covering the "crust".

Then add sliced zucchini rounds (I used half of a medium zucchini), sliced white mushrooms, and 1.5 ounces of crumble turkey sausage. Then sprinkle with about 1-2 tablespoons of grated parmesan.

And the brownie recipe I absolutely can NOT take credit for is written by addmalmom. But she also wrote it one of my journal entrie's comments. I topped mine with a tablespoon of sugar free hot fudge (for chocolately gooeyness) and some sugar free cool-whip. Oh.My.WORD. It's so perfect for a South Beacher.
