Well, I'll take 123 on a Day one Yucky Day!
I feel like I have NO energy! I am SO SORE. My arms are a wreck from that workout. I have to say that P90X works out so many different muscles at one time. I gave plyometrics a try today. It's just as rough. It's not so fun. I think I will compliment that workout with walking and my normal leg workout that involves squats, etc.
Food is fine. I really am a body type that does fabulous from mere calorie reduction. I can eat whatever I want as long as I stay within a caloric guideline. The big negotiation comes from the option of eating very little CRAP or a whole bunch of healthy food. 4 bowls of spinach salad or 1/2 oz of chocolate covered raisins....ya see?!
Until tomorrow!

Gaining 0.3 kg a Week

Well that fabulous time of the month is almost here and I refuse to even step on the scale. We had a really nice weekend at the lakehouse and I enjoyes wine and yummy snacks with my friends/family. It's nice to come home and be banned from the scale for a week.
I've been watching my husband struggle through p90x this week. I occassionally do the ab section with him. I decided to try a bit of push ups and pull ups with him again today. I got over half way through this time. I'm actually a bit stronger than last week. I'm going to approach it much like running. I will endeavor to do it each day but only so far as my body feels strong. Once I get shakey, done.
SO I GUESS I am giving it a try again but slowly. I feel more blood pumping through my arms right now than ever before. Last week I felt sore until Thursday.
As far as weight, I ended the week at about 122-123. I would like to start next Monday at the same spot. That would be okay with me. Then I can plug along and continue towards 119.
Until tomorrow....

Thanks for all of the encouragement!!
However I am sad to say...I HATE IT! lol!
It is REALLY intense but it is possible if you feel like grinding it out and modifying it a bunch! It's really geared towards men. The woman on the DVD really doesn't have the definition that I was hoping to see. That could very well be due to diet though. Unless you peel off the fat, you will never see the muscle underneath no matter how defined it is. Basically, I have to do so many modifications that I'm not sure of my form. Form is really important to me. It did kick my rear though. My arms feel like spaghetti.
Point is, if I hate doing it...I won't stick with it. I love running on the treadmill and mixing in my target areas with weights. If i need a change...I'll add in some p90x moves like another member here does...GOOD IDEA!
SO...did arms this week....I'm back on the treadmill in a little bit. Sorry folks...not for me.
Have a great week. I need to stick with my workouts this week. My weight is creeping up on me! YIKES! ; )
