January 2, 2021 Saturday BP 114/73, hr 57, blood sugar 127, weight 151.6. Stll recovering from holiday excesses, but hope to hit 150 or 149 soon.

New Year's Day, 2021
wt 151.8, blood sugar 137, blood pressure 111/73. Eating less, drinking less coffee have continued to help. Decaf in my next cup. Lean and green, counting calories, getting as much sleep as possible,8.5 last night but only 5 the night before.

December 27 weight 152.2, blood sugar 169 (digestive issue). I have been counting calories and eating little or no starch. hoping to get through holidays without disastrous weight gain. Having family to brunch meal today Making keto cheese cake, chocolate pie for family, maybe one more pumpkin pie.
Abstaining, of course from all but meat and salad today and probably 2-3 coffees with 1/2 cup sugar free soy milk each.

Wednesday december 23, 2020 wt 152.8. Yesterday the same. Today's blood sugar 127, yesterdays was 169 despite a low carb, low calorie day. Still working off 4 oz of buttered french bread, two or three chocolates, etc on Sunday. Tonight's dinner will be interesting. ground petite steak for grandpa who cannot chew right now due to a bum tooth, and chicken filet fried and baked for Rob who cannot eat beef. We will have well cooked string beans which every one can eat, baked potato, fresh cantaloup. My goal right now is to drop that water retention and get bqck to 150, possibly 149 by next week. Let's see if I can.

December 21, four ounces of bread with butte yesterday and 2000 calories total including some chocolate candy-- well I can hardly feel deprived after that. However, I gained 4 lbs, 155 this morning. In general it takes three to four days for grain induced bloat to depart. I am sticking to lean and green today and skipping dinner. Not hungry. High protein is always very satisfying, so not hungry at all.
