My friend/neighbor let me use her guest pass at the Y this week, so I got a couple of solid workouts in. I have one use of the guest pass left, and am going to sign up for my own membership in the new year because they'll waive the $50 fee then.
I'd like to move my NordicTrack elliptical machine to my new place, but I need to prioritize how I spend money. I know hiring professional movers for that will be pricey so I'm going to hold off for now. The Y membership will be about $30/month.
I ate well yesterday - cottage cheese & half a banana for breakfast, an apple with peanut butter for lunch, a non-fat latte as a snack, and chicken thighs with rice noodles for dinner. I ran 2.5 miles at the gym and did 50 crunches before bed, so I woke up feeling good. The scale rewarded me by showing my lowest weight in about 6 or 7 years.
I think I may be down another pant size (6!) because the 8's that I bought last month feel a little baggy in the thighs & knees. I'm going to the mall later today to confirm.

Losing 2.1 kg a Week

In November I became incredibly stressed with the election results and internal, personal struggles. This resulted in a complete loss of appetite and obsessive exercising (because running was the only thing that subsided the anxiety).
I began losing weight rapidly - clearly not in a healthy way - and chose to use that as the catalyst to get my body in shape. I gave myself a goal of losing 10 pounds by my office's holiday party (December 8) and I did it. I wore an XS Ralph Lauren dress, and I felt great about myself.
In the weeks since, I've gone through a separation from my spouse and have moved into my own place. It's been a tumultuous time emotionally and healthy eating/exercising hasn't been my top concern. That being said, I weighed myself for the first time in a couple of weeks this morning and was pleasantly surprised to see that I haven't gained any weight.
I've gone down a couple of pant/dress sizes and am happy with my body right now, though my goal is to lose another 5 pounds and sit comfortably at 125. I'm 5'3" so that's a reasonable goal. I'm hoping I can hit my goal weight by Valentine's Day the latest.

Losing 0.1 kg a Week

I've been doing well so far this week - eating healthy, getting my energy back but not feeling hungry at any point, except when I wake up.
But I messed up this morning by leaving my green juice in the fridge by accident. So here I am at work with coffee and yogurt, which aren't part of my challenge. The yogurt is full of sugar and the coffee has no nutritional value. Feeling disappointed about that.
