Hills and Valleys my friends! Hills and Valleys! No worry, no problem. Just keep trudging along. Actually, it's pretty simple. There really is no trudging about it. I had a rough weekend, a toothache, caught a virus, then had the joy of a screaming headache for a day...I think I am still reeling from the experience and still settling into my regular pattern again. But moving back to normal eating patterns has been pretty simple for me. I sure do like this lifestyle. It hels to have more reasons than just the scale to keep going. I like the blood sugar control!

Well, strayed all weekend, but stuck to the plan fairly well Monday through Wednesday, and I have a fair loss to show for it. I sure do feel better when I fast for 19-22 hours. And when it's time to eat, I can have whatever I want, but I always want something that's actually good... My pants fit better today and my husband complimented me this morning, and I know it's starting to happen...looking forward to Goal#2!!! Come on 210!

Time marches on, had a fantastic weekend camping and basketball-ing with the family. I wasn't very hungry but I allowed myself to eat 3 meals each day with the group, camping food is gooooood. The best part was that I could eat, then stop eating, and not even think about food. Then, eat at the next meal, stop eating, and it didn't even cross my mind...this is all new territory to me! I am not being controlled and manipulating by cravings and sugar crashes and junk food that calls my name...Monday, jumped right back into my little fast, and had greasy burritos for dinner (not a very good choice but it was a busy day!) and I am right on track today...this is great.

ok find holding steady, but to be fair, today is day 1 of my. !!! So actually, I think in 4 or 5 more days, I should be on my way to goal 2. I say, if I am holding steady for the week before . at my goal 1, that's ok with me. I have been fairly tempted this week with lots of cheats last weekend and a few during the week, but it's all ok on this plan and I jumped back on fairly quickly...going hard to win my race in Odessa this weekend, and it's ok to not be down to 217. I will get there soon enough.
**UDPATE, I just realized that I lost 8 lbs in 1 month doing this Fast 5 thing, and I am pretty happy with that. I can live with that, because I think I can keep it up. I especially love the cancer benefits and the "eating whatever you want" thing...this will work! Looking forward to my 1 year anniversary long-term, and short-term looking forward to 210. Goal 2!! Onward and downward.
