I now know the importance of water. Last couple of weeks, I was at a stand still. I have been eating healthy for months, and just maintaining.
This week, I have been drinking around 70 ounces of water a day, and I have dropped 2.5 pounds this week. Not saying I am burning more fat, but hey, Ill take losing extra water weight.
I will not go back to drinking only 12 ounces of water day.

So today is the cookie exchange at my office. I made low fat, and almost sugar free cake pops. Should I indulge, I am allowing my self to have half of one. That should be enough to satisfy my sweet tooth should I have one...
But I am starving right now and thinking about all of the yummy sweets, and am almost talking myself out of that. Today is day 3, I need to be good.
I might supplement my lunch with more healthy food, since I dont know if I brought enough to streghten my will to say no. Ugh! I need to think inspirational thoughts right now...

Yesterday I did super well, eating wise. I had to go dress shopping, so I didnt get to do my yoga, then this morning my alarm failed to go off so I didnt make it to the gym, AGAIN. But I am off to the right track again as far as food goes.
Last night I made homemade salsa and homemade guacamole, and put it on a piece of flat-out with some grilled chicken, broiled peppers and onions (didnt add butter, salt, or oil to them), a little bit of organic black beans, and 1 tbsp. of cheese. AND I was full! I didnt need the sour cream, the mound of cheese, the rice, which I would normally eat, and I was able to walk away without touching. A big feat for me. I can usually avoid eating unhealthy if it isnt in front of me, but if it is, thats another story.

My Rules, well, I dont want to call them rules...
My Guidelines:
NO eating out for 90 days. If the world is ending and I must, somewhere with fresh ingrediants only, like Chipotle, without sour cream or anything like that.
NO alcohol. My birthday is coming up in about a month, so I might have ONE glass of wine, but that is my exception, and my only.
Exercise everyday. Atleast 20 minutes of cardio per day, although I'd like to do more. 20 minutes is reasonable for me though. Even if I just do 20 minutes of jumping jacks with the kids in the evenings.
Drink lots of water. I rarely drink even 20 ounces of water a day. my goal is atleast 50 ounces. Still low I know, but I will slowly increase.
Feel good about my eating habits. I dont want to feel deprived because I can't eat dominos or anything else, but instead eat all the things that my body needs and still tastes good! I am getting a big interest in baking and have discovered some amazing recipes that are also super healthy!
This diet will not rule my life. I am a wife and have kids, and this diet will not consume me. We will all become healthy eaters!
I think thats it for now. I'll add more as the days pass, Im sure.
