Been a crazy week, lots of work! Thats one of the downsides to working from home and the owner of the company is your hubby..No sick days unless I'm really sick...No sneaking out early on a friday HaHa. Anyway it's the weekend now and all is well. Been getting better on the diet as far as making sure I get 12/15 grams of carbs from vegies and been striving to get my calories up and I am doing much better than when I first started on this site. Tried to cut out the iced tea Monday and Tuesday but felt so tired and not well! I thought it would make me drink more water but I actually drank way less, so I am back on the ice tea and I can drink close to a gallon of that a day. Exercise kinda went out the window this week with work being so crazy but I did manage everyday to get a walk in or a quick 30 min of Tae Bo. Hope next week I can get back on track and do my 2 workouts a day without fail!
I plan on spending lots of time outside this weekend as our central texas weather has turned wonderful(70's and low 80's), and the first of our purple martin's has shown up this week as well as the first barn swallow. I love spring here in the country, our land is teaming with birds and other animals! Have a great weekend!

Work has been very busy the last couple of days. I really did only eat <800calories yesterday..just too busy..no excuse! I also only got a walk in and no cardio but today I will spend atleast 30 min on cardio! I will try to get up to 1100-1200 calories today! I need to try and get more calories in...LOL kinda funny to say that but I have never been a breakfast person so eatting 2 meals a day on this diet well they fill me up and I stay full all night. But anyway I need to up the calories and figure out how to get just a few more foundation vegies in. Its almost March and I have lost 12 lbs since I started on Atkins but March is just one step closer to June (my son's wedding and the dreaded wedding pictures!) I will get there, I know I will and I understand that it has taken me 4 years to gain these 40 extra lbs so I know it will take time to get them gone again!

Got a late start to my day since I didn't have a good night (read my lighter note LOL)so had to cut morning workout in half but still have Tae Bo this afternoon and I want to start working out on the ab lounger. I was THRILLED to see the scale go down by 1.5 lbs today! been feeling like I was stuck for the last couple of weeks with just a .5 loss but no more!
On a lighter note:
FYI- If your husband/ significant other decides to have a couple of boiled eggs and a couple of beers during the day I would suggest the wearing of a gas mask to bed or lock him out of the room for the night!......just sayin : )
