I am a night shift worker. I work 3 12hr shifts in a row and feel like I am aging faster than I should bcause of my work schedule. My weight has blown up 6 years ago when I started working nights. I gained 65lbs and I am out of control now. I have tried working with my personal trainer for a while and would loose 5 to 10lbs then stay there but I felt better at least. I have moved to another state and still work the same schedule for now. Trying to find a place to join to work out and get on a better schedule at least on my days off.
I like walking, swimming, kyaking, the beach, hiking and exploring at least when the weather is cooler. I have teenagers/college age kids......I miss the exercise i would get when my peace and quiet consisted of taking my kids on a walk or bike ride. I don't have that motivation anymore and I miss it. My kids don't want to hang out now and I think they are a little embarrassed that I have gained so much weight.
