Trying to lose weight for better health, more energy and as a life change.
I struggle with depression, Grave's disease and Fibro pain. I was diagnosed with all three in 2013. I took 6 months off work and focused on eating healthy and getting well. I was 212 pounds and in that break I was able to lose a total of 60 pounds. I was able to lose the weight with a Paleo diet and Intermittent fasting. The only exercise I did was walking every day for 30 mintutes. However, when I returned to work, I gradually gained the weight back. I would say it took about a year to gain it all back. The stress, depression, anxiety and emotional eating took over.
I am now getting back into the saddle again and aim to lose that 60 pounds and keep it off.
I definitely want to be more active and try some new hobbies.
