Why reading ingredient lists really matter…
Kikkoman soy sauce versus LaChoy- both have 10 calories per tablespoon so what’s the difference right? Here’s the difference:
Kikkoman - water, soy beans, wheat, salt.
La Choy- water, salt, hydrolyzed, soy protein, corn syrup, caramel color, and potassium sorbate.
Also, LaChoy has 300 mg more salt than Kikkoman & one gram less of protein.
