This is not a real loss - have changed to a different set of scales and time of day for weigh in.
I have gained more than a kg since New Year and am having difficulty getting back on track.

Thanks guys, I'll just have to get back into the groove. It's a tad scary how easily you can slip back into the old ways. As soon as i stop being rigorous in logging what I eat, restraint flies out the window. Whilst it is time consuming, it is the one technique that has worked for me.

I hear you so loud Hammertone! I lost 20 plus kilos and when I got to down to 77 kilos the scales stopped moving for 6 months. Before I knew it I was the un-proud owner of 6 of my previously lost kilos again. If I don't log my foods I gain big time. I'm still very angry with myself for letting it happen. I work in the sporting and recreation industry so I'm extra aware of the excess kilos I carry and how people may view it. But now I have got my head back in to the right frame of mind I can also see how much my mid weight-loss journey weightgain has taught me about the potholes we all encounter as we go about losing excess kilos.

Thanks JustforJules, it is affirming to find others dealing with the same issues. Keeping an honest log is the go for me as I will graze all day otherwise. I love to cook and I love to eat and I have time on my hands. This coupled with a knee injury that's stopped my cardio has made it all a bit challenging lately.
When I get angry about my weight gain it usually triggers more overeating. The classic triggers for addictive behaviours (HALT: Hungry or Angry or Lonely or Tired) all affect my behaviours around food.
You absolutely nailed it when you mentioned getting your head back into the right frame of mind. I think the right mindset is critical for success with this.
