Okay, so.....
My diet? Going okay. I can say that. I had a few small slip ups and one large slip up. I had a large milkshake, which is okay in moderation. I know this, BUT, I was really wanting to eliminate my food vices from my diet. Eventually I will, I think I was rushing with it.
One of my childhood friends came to spend the weekend with us. It was fantastic, I ate what I wanted, smaller portions. My small victory? Ordering a SMALL cherry limeade at Sonic. However, we did go through about 8 bottles of red wine (sangria). This I know is HORRIBLE. I justify this easily.
I never drink. I never see my close friends. I am a busy working mother who every now and again needs a break. It was over a span of three days. It will probably be months before I consume any more alcohol again. Possibly a year. It is fun for a change, but I don't even want to drink in moderation.
The most important justification? I wanted to.
I have also learned something. I love to eat healthy. Even after one day of eating what I should, not what I wanted. I felt better..physically and mentally. Great combination.
I went grocery shopping last night and found these fantastic cookies! WhoNu nutrition cookies. They taste fabulous! Thought I would share for anyone who never heard of them before.
