After realizing that I ate WAY too much yesterday -- not super unhealthy food, just too much of healthy and "neutral" foods -- I decided to drastically cut back on the calories. I thought it would be terrible, that I wouldn't make it through the day, or whatnot, but it was super easy! I even ate less than I planned. It's almost sort of freeing to plan what you're going to eat in advance, because food isn't constantly on your mind.

In addition to a longish walk with the dogs this morning and using a arm/leg bike contraption for 20 minutes, I even managed to do a 7-min HIIT workout. The best part was when the Chihuahua-mix came over to try and get on my lap during the crunches! (Not to worry, my swinging elbows deterred him...)
