So the answer to the previous question is becoming essential. I have no coping mechanism for feelings of fear, loss, loneliness, despair, etc. I just want to eat something sweet until I start to buzz...
So far this year the only "coping" is avoiding those situations that drive me crackers. They grow when I avoid them.
Now the emotional eating is transitioning to habitual eating...I'm angry that I lost a weeks vacation taking care of someone else's parents.
