So after 3 days of IF my scale changed from 91.3 to 89.4kg. So how do we know if it’s water or fat loss?

Also please suggest something to carry me through the headaches and just the gross feeling that comes with fasting. It could be the heat also. I am definitely trying to drink 3l of water everyday with IF. This is the first time I’ve seen the 80’s since starting my weight loss and after plateauing. So perhaps IF is the best way to shake things up. Want it to go slow though because I don’t want loose skin. Feeling optimistic though 🙂

Add sum salt to your water, it helps

2nd week on IF now trying 22 hour fast and eating window 2 hours... Problem is I only eat 500cals a day

@mikaylastofberg - it should be the pink himalyan salt though not ordinary table salt - it might just be your body adjusting and an imbalance of electrolytes. But specifically a dash of pink salt

i’ve been IF for a year now & i had the same problem. What helped me was drinking zero calorie drinks during my fasting window like black coffee with no sugar & / green tea. also, small changes last. you can adjust your fasting window as you go, you don’t really have to fast for long if you’re still starting out. PLEASE do eat if your body tells you to, IF shouldn’t feel like punishment,so don’t starve yourself. you’re doing great 🦋

I used to get headaches when fasting breakfast. I have to eat in the morning. So now I fast supper but I only do 14:10 IF. You have to find a way that it's sustainable just like types of exercise.
