so, today was an ok day. i did well up until the point they had a mini baby shower for a friend and i ended up eating stuff i shouldn't have. i tried to make it up during dinner by not having anything too big. so i had about 4 pieces of california roll and 4 pieces of tuna. then i had an apple. i did splurge but i think i made up a little ground with with my so called dinner. didn't get to exercise as i work 2 jobs and today i did both from 8 to 11p.m. i'll make it up tomorrow.

It sounds like you are on the right track. Gatherings are definitely the trickiest time. It's not like being at home where you shopped only for what you want to eat. Suddenly you're surrounded by all the tempting snack sized dishes. I try to just munch on the veggies if they are available and avoid the dips (really hard for me!). You are making nice steady progress so you should be very proud of yourself!
