OMG! Today someone said they can tell I've lost a lot of weight. While it hasn't been a lot of pounds gone, the parts that jiggle are less and don't jiggle as much! I'm excited. I can even see a difference in the mirror. Even though the scale is still not my friend, I'm starting to to get more and more motivation just by seeing a little bit of progress. I know I can do this! The good part is that I've become way more aware of what is healthy and I'm eating plenty of food; however, now it's just better for me. I am even getting in my chocolate (sort of-Atkins) without going on a full junk food bender. The trips to the gym still wear me out, but I'm learning what to work and realize that I don't have to kill myself all at once in order to see progress. Bonus! I have started making my cardio days on football days so I can watch the game from the arc rider/treadmill/elyptical. That has made a HUGE difference since I get so into the game, I forget that I'm sweating like a pig and worn out. I think I may even burn more calories when I get into the game since I have a lot of "gestures" to express during the game. While this in no way replaces a much loved, cold beer and a bar during the game, it does make the workout more tolerable. If football lasted year 'round, I'd be at my goal in no time! :)
