Ok, so now I'm done with business travel for the foreseeable future. Time to start getting everything back on track. My weight has managed to remain stable, if somewhat higher than I want. I think that is a good thing as it means I don't have to work too much harder to start getting things moving in the right direction.
So, step one in my reorganization is my new commute. I work at the same office, but I've decided to exchange the car ride for a bicycle and a train. It is a 15 mile one-way commute (so thirty miles total) but it does burn quite a few calories. I will be doing this three times a week, weather permitting (but in Southern California I figure even in the deepest winter I'll still be making this trek three times per week).
On days I don't commute I'll be going in for martial arts. Tang Soo Do on Saturdays and Mondays. Kickboxing on Thursday or Wednesday and Sunday. I think I'll be OK. I took my first ride in this morning and it went really well. I even got here about 30 minutes earlier than usual. Since I plan on catching the train that leaves a little earlier than the train I ended up taking I think I have a little leeway in my schedule.

When I went to class for that A+, the school was maybe a 20 min walk from my house and I thought it would be great cause I can walk to and from school. Well the only problem was I always wait til the last minute to leave the house lol and if I had to be there by 7:30 I wouldnt leave my house til 7:10am. I just drove after a while but I hope your more discipline cause I think its cool to be able to walk or ride a bike to work. Good Luck!!!

I go to work in a bike and going to the gym. The pros are no traffic and less expense. The cons is if its raining and i catch a cold recently.
