Another attempt to get going. I haven't gained everything back (miracle) but not for lack of trying. I am currently on mandatory days off from work due to blood pressure issues so today I am fighting for some control. The support I have received on this site has been amazing and now that I am trying again I will renew my efforts here. I made it through today relatively well. Need to cut the carbs a little more. I went for a walk today and that was great as it wasn't really hot this morning. I didn't go far but at least I got started. Tomorrow I will walk and then I am doing a little shopping as that is supposed to be relaxing. My b/p is finally at a manageable rate so I have got to start taking better care of myself.

That's a great start! Take it a day at a time by staying on track and getting some exercise in and you'll be getting that scale to move downward in no time! I have faith in you.....YOU CAN DO IT!! :)

Your blood pressure will improve as you lose weight. The more you stick to this, the more weight you will lose. I bet you'll be running circles around the block in no time. You CAN do this!

Great job with the new start! Do you look at your sodium levels in your food diary? It's one of the options you can choose. I shoot for under 2400mg, but I'm not sure what the guidelines are for people with bp issues.
