This has been a great couple weeks of SB phase 1! I'm going to do one more week of phase 1 and then switch over to phase 2. I'm feeling good, my energy is high. Warmer weather coming this week will hopefully increase my desire for more activity. Right now the scale moves downward primarily due to diet change. We've been cooking maple syrup and it's been difficult not to indulge. I have sampled a spoonful of each batch, just to make sure it's ok:)

My biggest obstacle is still willpower. I had guests this weekend for dinner, they brought brownies and pie; I couldn't stay away, even after eating a ricotta dessert with cocoa powder I made for myself. A good suggestion I have found is the three-bite rule: If you want something, eat it, take three bites and savor them, then get rid of it. Sometimes it's just hard to decide on WHICH dessert to eat!
